That childhood experience became the foundation for everything Ember & Stone represents. Coming from a Sikh background where family gatherings are woven into the fabric of our culture, I've witnessed firsthand how meaningful spaces can strengthen connections across generations. But here in New Jersey, with our unique blend of cultures and the American lifestyle we've embraced, I saw families needing spaces that honored both their heritage and their dreams.

My foundation is in custom home construction—specifically high-end luxury builds for families throughout New Jersey. For five years, I worked directly on projects where every detail mattered, where quality couldn't be compromised, and where families were investing in their most important asset.

But I kept seeing something missing. These beautiful homes would have basic, uninspired outdoor spaces—as if the family's vision stopped at the back door. I realized that outdoor living wasn't being approached with the same standards and attention to detail that we applied to the interior spaces where families actually lived.
